The food here comes out quick, is fantastic and filling. I almost always want to skip the next meal after this I am so full. Friendly staff and great food what else could you ask for. Though you do have to ask for the hot stuff, but it is very hot.

Service was poor, food was greasy, the place could use a good scrub. Just wasn't pleased at all.

I admire this spot! They prepare first-rate food, their menu is varied, The cook in that place is a specialist, I enjoy a lot tasting all their dishes. The dishes are always of high class, the service towards the visitors is friendly. I go often to this restaurant and I not even once was unhappy. I recommend it to all.

Best Mexican restaurant in the midwest. The quality of the food is amazing. Also I love their salsa they serve with the chips, it is not too runny like other Mexican restaurants I have been to & it has good flavor.

Real Mexican food I'm a truck driver from Texas and this is a nice place, drivers you can park at Phillips 66 they have plenty of space

This place is awesome! It was the perfect stop on a long drive from Wisconsin to St. Louis. I had three tacos: grilled chicken, carnitas, and tilapia. All three tasted fresh, well seasoned and generally delicious! Thanks El Nopal!

Good Margaritas, nice service. I like the decor.first time we tried it. will certainly be coming back again as we travel through the area. Glad that local Pizza Kitchen was closed which is where we were thinking of eating.

The el Nopal chimichanga was everything I could have hoped for. Service was second to none. I will be back. Truck drivers, there is a large gravel lot accessed from behind the restaurant and also a truck stop with limited parking next door.

Always good food. Does get busy during rush hours because it is a great place to go. Can be a little tight for larger groups but does accommodate them.

Love the taco salad but one time when dining it found a toothpick in the salsa unwrapped, and theirs are wrapped. Told the waiter. He just took the salsa brought us new and didnt even try to do something about the meal.

Surprisingly good Mexican food in Palmyra, MO. I'd been passing them by for years on the highway en route to Quincy. My loss. Wish I'd tried them earlier. Some of the best al pastor tacos I've had outside of Kansas City, KS & Cherokee Street in St. Louis. A good selection of Mexican beer at the bar as well. No excuse to drink Bud Light when a good beer is only 40 cents more. I look forward to returning here when in Palmyra again.

Great food and service. The smoking in the back room makes it miserable when you are trying to eat. My wife and I love the food, but smell of smoke everytime keeps us from going as often as we would.

The chips were stale the salsa tasted like tomato sauce with no flavor, there was no seasoning on the fajitas not even a little salt! The waiter was pleasant and attentive but the food was horrible. Overall the place sucked!
